The four concert bands at Amador are the cornerstone of the band program. Students are placed by audition into Wind Ensemble I, Wind Ensemble II, Wind Symphony or Symphonic Band.

Each group prepares challenging and dynamic wind literature in concert and contest, performing in winter and spring concerts,  CMEA band festival, the Chabot Wind Band Festival, PUSD district band festival and other concerts.

Members of all bands participate in solo and ensemble festival, chamber music performances as well as earning spots in all-state and all-region honors bands.
